Application

It can be easily applied on concrete, plaster, rough rendering, exposed concrete, gas concrete, briquette, drag mosaic, and concrete panel surfaces. The application surfaces should be clean, dry and free from dust. Surfaces with old and blistered paint should be scraped. Newly plastered surfaces should be kept for at least 4 weeks before application. Rough and loose surfaces as well as those containing hair cracks should be puttied up with "PREMIUM EXTERIOR PUTTY or respectively "PREMIUM INTERIOR PUTTY”. After the smoothening process, it is recommended to apply one coat to reduce top coat paint consumption and enhance the adhesion of paint on the surface and in cases of colour change. To avoid drying problems, the application areas should be protected against rain and frost and no application should be performed on areas exposed to excessive wind or direct sunlight. Surfaces of buildings which are not exposed to sunlight should be preferred at temperatures over 35 °C and if application is to be carried out between 12 pm and 4 pm. “Silosan Silicone White Primer" is applied as one coat by roll or brush after diluting by 10% at maximum with water.

"INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR PREMIUM SILICONE PRIMER" is diluted with water up to 10% and applied in a single layer with a roller or brush. Application temperature 5˚C to 35˚C

Drying Time

Touch dry: 1-3 hours
Before final coat: 6-8 hours. (23°C, 50% R.H.)

Consumption

Depending on the absorbency and type of the surface, an area of 12–16 m²/lt is painted in a single coat. A field sample study must be carried out for exact consumption.
